Diabetic Association of PNG
The Diabetic Association of Papua New
Guinea was started in 1999. Lady Carol Kidu was the instigator for the
first meeting. The Association aims to improve the lives of people with
diabetes in Papua New Guinea. Membership is open to people with
diabetes, their relatives, health professionals, and any other
interested persons. Membership costs K10 a a one-off joing fee.
Currently there is only a Port Moresby Branch – we would be delighted to
have branches in other parts of PNG.
The Association is a member of the
International Diabetes Federation

World Diabetes Day – Nov 14.
